We go through a lot of salsa in our home.
I like homemade salsa the best (see below for recipe) but in the winter I try to buy it on sale and stock up.

My daughter helps me make homemade salsa in the summer with the help of our Magic Bullet.
Magic Bullet Express 17-Piece High-Speed Blender Mixing System ( $51: This item is somewhat pricey but it is something we use all the time!)
- 3 tbs onion
- 2 small cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tomatoes- chopped
- 2 hot peppers or Jalapeno-chopped
- 1/4 c minced cilantro
- 1 1/2 to 2 tbs lime juice
- salt and pepper
What we do: Combine small portions of all the ingredients into the small Bullet cup- onions, garlic, chopped tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, lime juice, salt & pepper. Refrigerate and serve chilled with warm tortilla chips. Makes about 2 cups of salsa.

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy the salsa and new chips. I have given up eating my Sun Chips and now eat my Tortilla chips instead………I love them. I went grocery shopping on Friday and by Tuesday eat the whole bag and salsa……………. Warm the Tortilla chips and you would think you are eating at a Mexican restaurant. Good Job!
